Using list segmentation to organize customers into groups based on purchases, behaviors, or opportunities results in new levels of profitability.
Similar to automating upsells and cross sells, list segmentation is simply grouping a sub-category of customers into lists to which more specific offers are made. The specific messaging and offers are truly enticing to these groups. These list segments tend to perform very well regarding open rates, click through rates (CTRs), and overall conversions.
